Recommended products if you have discoloured nails
Unfortunately, regular use of nail polish comes at a cost, as nails can easily become discoloured and yellow. It is essential to use a base coat and a top coat that have a UV filter and prevent discolouration.
It is also a good idea to choose a nail polish remover that doesn’t dry out and discolour your nails. We recommend the following products:

Choose a gentle nail polish remover that is free from acetone
Depend’s environmentally adapted nail polish remover is mild and gentle, as well as free from acetone, oil, colour and perfume, which can cause discolouration of the nail. Available as a 75 ml dip-in and 100 ml and 250 ml bottles.
Your nails may feel a little oily after removing polish, so rinse your hands and nails well with lukewarm water once all polish has been removed. NB – do not use on artificial nails!
Step 2

Exfoliate and rehydrate your nails and cuticles
This may be a product for the smallest part of your body, but it has a big impact. Exfoliating is an easy way to completely transform your nails in just 1 minute! A cuticle peeling product combined with nail oil creates a solid foundation for strong, flexible nails. This kit includes both these products.
Exfoliate your nails once a week before applying nail polish and use the nail oil every day. The oil can be applied on top of your polish. You can watch our Kickstart film here in Depend Academy.
Step 3

Camouflage discolouration with a nail strengthener
Ridgefiller Nail Strengthener strengthens, moisturises, smooths out any unevenness and camouflages discolouration. Apply one or two thin coats and touch up with a new coat every three days to maintain the effect. For a natural look, apply two or three coats as a nude-coloured polish. This product can also be used as a base coat when applying nail polish.
